Create, Relax, and Discover the Magic of Stained Glass
At Holidaze Stained Glass – My Free Spirit, we believe that stained glass is more than just an art form—it’s an experience. A chance to slow down, let your creativity flow, and create something truly beautiful with your own hands.
Step Into the Magical World of Stained Glass
Stained glass is a timeless craft that has been captivating artists since the Middle Ages. At our studio, we teach the Tiffany Method, a technique developed by Tiffany Studios in the late 1800s. This method allows artists to create intricate designs using small pieces of glass, copper foil, and solder—resulting in breathtaking panels, lamps, and decorative art.
Begin Your Journey with Ease
New students start with a small, approachable project—either a butterfly or a simple panel—designed to introduce the full copper foil process. From cutting and grinding to foiling and soldering, you’ll learn every step, gaining the confidence to take on larger, more intricate designs. When you register, you'll select a specific day and time slot, which will be your dedicated class time for all seven consecutive weeks, ensuring a structured learning experience.
A Creative Escape—That You Can Take Home
Stained glass isn’t just an art form; it’s a relaxing, hands-on experience where you leave your worries at the door. The beauty of the copper foil method is that many steps, like foiling, can be done at home with minimal space. As you progress, you may find yourself eager to build a small workspace—perhaps even investing in a grinder to expand your skills outside of class!
A Craft That Keeps on Giving
Even after 30 years, there’s always something new to learn in stained glass. Whether you're looking for a creative escape, a new artistic passion, or a rewarding challenge, this art form will continue to inspire you. Join us and see where your creativity takes you!
Not Just Stained Glass...MOSAICS!!
At Holidaze Stained Glass Studio, we start you off with stained glass, but the creativity doesn't stop there! You can also learn the art of mosaics, exploring different materials and techniques to create stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces. Whether you're drawn to the glow of stained glass or the intricate beauty of mosaics, our studio offers something for every artist!

Step Into a World of Color and Light
From the moment you step into our studio, you’ll be surrounded by the soft glow of colorful glass, the gentle hum of creativity, and the warmth of a community that encourages and inspires. Our experienced instructors will guide you through every step, making sure you feel confident and comfortable as you shape, solder, and bring your vision to life.

A Welcoming Space for Everyone
Our classes are designed to be warm, inviting, and stress-free. Whether you’ve never touched a glass cutter before or you’re looking to refine your skills, we provide a relaxed environment where anyone can learn and enjoy the process. No pressure, no rush—just a peaceful space to explore, create, and express yourself.

Leave with More Than Just Art
By the end of this seven-week course, you’ll have hands-on experience in the stained glass process and make significant progress on your own piece. Whether you're creating a sun-catching ornament, a heartfelt gift, or your first stained glass panel, you'll develop valuable skills and gain a deep appreciation for the craft. While every student works at their own pace, our goal is for you to leave with both newfound confidence and a nearly or fully completed work of art.
No Experience? No Problem! Let’s Cut Right to It!
Getting Started: Your First Steps in Stained Glass
Starting something new can feel intimidating, but at our studio, we set you up for success from day one! We create a welcoming, supportive learning environment where questions are always encouraged—because there’s no such thing as a silly question here.
When you sign up, you'll choose a specific day and time slot that will be your dedicated class time for all seven consecutive weeks. This ensures you have a consistent schedule, allowing you to build skills week by week in a structured and supportive setting.
On your first night, just wear comfy clothes, bring a coffee or your favorite beverage, and get ready to dive into the beautiful art of stained glass. We’ll provide safety goggles for cutting and grinding, and as you progress, you’ll just need a simple plastic bin to transport your glass.
Your first project will be a beginner-friendly design, such as a small panel or a butterfly, carefully chosen to help you build confidence without feeling overwhelmed. Throughout the course, you’ll learn to cut, grind, foil, solder, and finish your very own stained glass piece. The best part? The sense of accomplishment when you complete it!
And we celebrate that moment—expect clapping, smiles, and a little show-and-tell as you join our growing community of stained glass artists. Because here, every finished piece is a reason to cheer!

About Our Classes
Who are these classes for? Are they suitable for beginners, hobbyists, or professionals?
Our stained glass classes are for all skill levels! Beginners can learn the copper foil method, while experienced artists can refine their craft or take on new challenges like lamps, panels, or mosaics. No matter where you are in your journey, our studio is the perfect place to learn, grow, and create beautiful stained glass art!
Do they need tools, materials, or safety gear, or are supplies provided?
New students only need to bring a beverage of their choice and a great attitude! On the first night, just show up, have fun, and get ready to learn a new creative skill.
What is the cost of the stained glass classes, and does pricing vary based on skill level or project complexity?
Our stained glass classes run in a seven-consecutive-week session for $210. Supplies, including a glass, glass cutter, foil, and solder, are an additional cost, but they don’t need to be purchased all at once. Materials will be needed gradually throughout the sessions.

Potential new students are welcome to call me and drop in during any ongoing class to observe. Our community of stained glass artists is always welcoming and happy to share their creative process with visitors.
What is the minimum age requirement for your classes? Are they suitable for children, teens, or adults only? Please specify any age restrictions or recommendations.
Our classes are for ages 16 and older due to the use of sharp glass and hot solder. Participants must also be able to stand while cutting glass, as proper pressure is required for safe and effective cutting.
Is there anything else students should know before signing up? This could include class policies, special notes, or unique aspects of your teaching approach.
Students are asked to notify the studio by email or phone if they are unable to attend a class. This helps with preparation and ensures a smooth experience for everyone.
I don’t know how to draw. Can I still do this?
Absolutely! You don’t need any drawing skills. We provide design books and templates that make the process easy. Our studio also has built-in light boxes, so you can trace your design directly onto the glass—no extra templates needed!
Do I need to bring anything to the first class?
Just yourself and a beverage!
Do I have to sign up for a seven-week session?
Yes. Stained glass is a true art form and skill set that takes time to learn. That’s why our classes run in seven consecutive weeks. Many students continue for months or even years—your spot is yours until you decide to give it up!
When do your classes start and stop?
Classes are ongoing! You can start anytime as long as there is an available spot.
